A trademark is a distinctive symbol which users or customers use to identify different goods and/or services of companies. Nowdays in market competition the trademark protection is more and more importance.

To obtain maximum protection of trademark we provide national and international levels. PATware, patent attorney office, is preparing, writing and filing registration of trademark with the corresponding Slovenian Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and also the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM).

TRADEMARKS FILLING REQUIREMENTS

  1. Power of attorney (no legalization required).
  2. List of goods and/or services, classified in accordance with International NICE Classification.
  3. If a mark is other than a word in block lettering, 5 specimens of sign (max. 8 x 8 cm)
  4. For collective marks, a general instrument governing the grant of the right to use the collective mark.
  5. Priority document (if any), to be filed within three months as of the filing date and translated upon request.
  6. If the priority application was filed by another applicant, the present Applicant must sign a declaration explaining his right to file in Slovenia.
